Herr's Snack Factory Tour With Allie and Finn!

Today we went to the Herr's Snack Factory tour with my sister-in-law and her family! We enjoyed the tour and learned how pretzels, chips, and tortilla chips are made at the factoy! We went to McDonald's for lunch after the tour. Graham cried for the first half of lunch while Allie, Finn, and Sophia ate their lunch. Graham settled down and did finally eat some of his lunch. We headed home for an afternoon nap!

The Day After Christmas

Today was a very relaxing day! We stayed home all day!!!! We put all of the toys away and put some old toys in the basement. Sophia and Graham played all morning with their new toys! They took a long nap today (which they both needed after two days of no naps). We had a family movie night tonight too! We watched Cars! Sophia and Graham were able to use their new sleeping bags while we watched the movie. They ended up playing with Daddy for most of the movie, but we still had a wonderful evening with just the four of us and Rocky and Wingo too!!

Christmas Day

We spent Christmas day at my parent's house! It was a very busy day!! Sophia and Graham received so many presents!! Graham loves his new Cars movie and his light up Cars shoes! It was a Cars Christmas for Graham! He spent most of today walking around in his light up shoes carrying all of his cars!!! Sophia loves her Sleeping Beauty sleeping bag, Elmo hands, and Candyland game. We played Candyland many times today!!! It was a long day and by the time we got home Sophia and Graham were exhausted!

Christmas Morning!

Sophia and Graham were so excited Christmas morning! They could hardly wait to get downstairs!!! It was so fun to enjoy Christmas through the eyes of a two and three year old. Graham loves his new Geo Trax Train! Sophia's favorite gift was her cleaning trolley. She has been telling me that Santa was going to bring her one for months. She loves to help me clean! All the excitement of Christmas and no nap on Christmas Eve made for a very crabby Graham! We can't wait for Christmas next year so we can share this special time with Parker too!! We love you Parker! We certainly missed you this year!!!!

Christmas Eve Part II

We gave Sophia and Graham one present to open on Christmas Eve. We got them shake and go cars. They both love them! Sophia gave Graham his present that she picked out just for him. She chose to get him two cars from the Cars movie. Graham picked out a stuffed Sleeping Beauty for Sophia. She has slept with her new Sleeping Beauty both nights. We also sprinkled reindeer food outside for Santa's reindeer. We put cookies and milk out for Santa too! Then, it was time to go to to bed!!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with Erik's family! We were so happy that Erik's sister and her family came for Christmas this year. Allie and Finn are twins and three years old like Sophia. Allie was so excited to play with Sophia, but Sophia took a little while to warm up. The four cousins had a great time playing after dinner. We are going to be spending lots of time with Allie and Finn before they head back home to New Hampshire! We had a wonderful Christmas Eve!

Early Christmas Presents!

Sophia and Graham received presents in the mail from Aunt Margie and Uncle Harry. They were so excited to open the presents! They loved them all! We know it will be a special Christmas this year! Thanks Aunt Margie and Uncle Harry!!!!

Let It Snow!

It is a winter wonderland here today!! We are expecting between one and two feet of snow from this storm.

Sophia's Preschool Holiday Party!

Today Sophia had her holiday party at school. The children sang songs for all the Moms. I can't wait for Erik to see the video tonight!! They were so cute! Sophia just stood there, but she still looked cute!!! We ate delicious cookies made by the children as a special snack today! It is always nice for me to spend some time in Sophia's classroom! It was a fun day!!!

Letter Ss!

Graham wanted me to put together his Thomas the Train tracks on his train table. Sophia decided she was going to make a track on the floor for her train. Instead of making a track for her train on the floor, she made her letter Ss. She was so excited that she made her letter Ss with the train tracks. I am so proud of her!!!!!! She almost can write her whole name now!

Bob the Builder!

Graham loves Bob the Builder!! We found a Bob the Builder ride at the mall on Saturday! Graham couldn't resist a ride on Scoop! Sophia joined in on the fun too!

Preschool Open House!

On Saturday we went to Sophia and Graham's preschool for their Holiday Open House. We had a lot of fun! Sophia and Graham were able to see Santa. Sophia didn't mind sitting on Santa's lap, but Graham sure did (see picture)! They ate cookies and made a craft. Sophia's friend Zoe was there too! Sophia loves Zoe! Then, we headed to the mall to see Santa again! Sophia and Graham both did great sitting on Santa's lap this time! We even got a pretty good picture of the two of them with Santa!
