A Beautiful February Day!

We are having some unusually warm weather this week! Today it was almost sixty degrees!! We spent some time playing in the driveway after lunch. It makes me miss the warm spring and summer months! Tomorrow we are off to the playground with some of Sophia's kindergarten friends!

Pool Day!

Today we took the children to the pool at the athletic club. This was our first time in the pool. I didn't actually go in the pool because I was holding Oliver, but everyone else did! They loved it! Parker was a little crazy at first. He took off and climbed up the stairs to go down the water slide all by himself before we could catch him. Erik had to go get him! He is such a daredevil! I am not sure either of us will be able to take the five children to the pool alone until Oliver gets a little older. Hopefully, by the summer things will be easier and I can take the children alone. Piper loved the water, but she got cold so easily that Erik had to keep bringing her out of the water and wrapping her up in the towels. All four of them loved being in the water!

Delaware Children's Museum!

We headed back to the museum on Saturday afternoon! We didn't get to the museum until almost 2:00 PM. It gave us two and a half hours to explore and play in the museum. It is so nice to be able to spend time at the museum without having to do a marathon day at the museum. We are so glad Auntie gave us a family membership for Christmas! We had a wonderful time!

Graham Update!

Today Graham had an appointment with his oncologist Dr. Griffin. Graham is still cancer free! His AFP level is 2 and normal is anything under 8! His CT scan looked great too! He still has to give blood every month and he has another CT scan in April. April will mark the one year anniversary of Graham's cancer diagnosis!

Parker Update!

Parker had a kidney ultrasound on Tuesday. I had mentioned to the urologist when I was in to see her with Piper two weeks ago that Parker is still not potty trained. He has no interest in being potty trained. She asked if we ever did a kidney scan to be sure there wasn't any abnormality. I told her no. Well, after the scan we found out Parker has a horseshoe shaped kidney. That really just means that his two kidneys never separated during the fourth to eighth week in utero. His kidneys are fused together at the bottom. From what I read about a horseshoe kidney, it doesn't appear to cause any problems. It did mention there is a higher risk of kidney cancer in people who have a horseshoe kidney. Parker will be going to have an MRI of his spine to see if he has a tethered spinal cord. We are hoping that is not the case! Our little man just can't catch a break!

Having Fun at Home!!

Mason's Birthday Party!

Happy 5th Birthday Mason!! We celebrated Mason's birthday on Saturday afternoon. We spent the afternoon at Boomer's! The children had a wonderful time!!!!

Parker loves his batman shirt that Mom Mom and Dziadzi gave him for Christmas. He wants to wear it every single day! He believes he is BATMAN when he wears his cape shirt!!! We sure do love our little man!!

Fingerprint Day!

Last Thursday we headed into Philadelphia to get fingerprinted for USCIS. We are one step closer to Zoe!! We can't wait to bring you home!! They do not allow cameras in the fingerprint office. These are the best pictures I could get of our fingerprint adventure!
