Our Girls!

Here is some information about our two precious girls!!!

Harper Polly:
DOB: September 21, 2006

Special need: PKU (protein deficiency)

Waiting for us at Tianjin Children's Welfare Institute in Tianjin Province (near Beijing)

Zoe Caroline:
DOB: September 11, 2010

Special need:  VSD and crossed eyes

Waiting for us at Kunming Children's Welfare Institute in Yunnan Province
Zoe is currently living with a foster family!

LOA!!!!!!!!

This afternoon we received our LOA (letter of acceptance) from China.  We are one step closer to bringing our girls home!  We can finally share the pictures of our girls!

We can now send our I-800 application to Immigration.  They will give us permission to bring home both Harper and Zoe.  Then, we send our approval back to China and wait for our travel approval!  We will probably travel late November or early December to bring the girls home!!!!!!!!!

Playground Fun!

Sophia and Graham were off school today for teacher's meetings!  We went to the playground closest to our house this morning since we had to pick Piper up at 11:15 from school.  We went to Target for lunch.  Graham picked out a birthday present for his friend's party this weekend!  We went to another playground this afternoon.  We stayed until it was time to go home and get Parker off the bus!  It was nice spending some time with Sophia, Graham, Piper, and Oliver today, but we sure missed Parker!!!!!

Graham is the star of the week in kindergarten!  He brought home Lucky the Leopard to spend the week with his family last Friday!  He was so excited!  Sophia was just as excited to see Lucky again!

Shrinky Dinks!

Sophia and Graham got shrinky dinks for their birthdays!  I totally forgot about how much fun it was to do shrinky dinks.  I remember doing them when I was a little girl!  Graham and I did his first set while Piper and Oliver took a nap and Sophia and Parker were still at school!  Graham loves having one on one time with me each afternoon!  Graham was so excited to tell Sophia about his shrinky dinks as soon as she got off the bus!  Of course, we went home and had to do more shrinky dinks with Sophia!  We had a great time!!!
