Magic Kingdom!

We went to Magic Kingdom first! We had a character breakfast at the Polynesian on before we headed to the Magic Kingdom! Parker was terrified of the characters and hid under the table any time a character got close to us! Sophia, Graham, and Piper loved meeting each character! We spent the day with Aunt Debbie and Elizabeth! We spent most of the day riding the rides and meeting some characters! The two rides the children liked the most were the rocketships and the Buzz Lightyear ride! Oliver even liked it! Parker loved every ride! Graham would try the rides, but didn't always love them! Sophia was still scared of rides that were in the dark like Peter Pan, Pooh, or It's a Small World. Sophia also did not like the fireworks or any show that had fire in it! We went to Magic Kingdom four times. We went twice at night when it wasn't so hot. Magic Kingdom was definitely a favorite place to visit! Disney Trip!!!

I was planning on writing a post each day, but I didn't bring my computer. I will do my best to remember all the highlights of our trip! There were lots of memorable moments!!!! We had a wonderful time in Disney! We spent two weeks at the Orange Lake Resort with my parents! It was so nice to have two weeks away with our family! The children loved Disney! We were even able to spend two days with Aunt Debbie and Elizabeth while we were in Disney! The children were sad when they left for home! Sophia sure loves her godmother!!! We left for Disney on Sunday, May 20th! We had so much luggage to take with us! We had six suitcases for us and my parents (mostly my Mom stuff) had five suitcases for just the two of them. We had an uneventful flight! The children all played with their ipods and took naps on the flight to Disney. We managed to get all of our luggage and pick up the two rental cars. We did have to switch the original minivan that only sat six for a minivan that sat seven. We had a very hard time getting Oliver's carseat in the minivan. Erik is usually the one who puts the carseats in the car! We finally got it in and headed for the Disney House (as the children call it)! The Disney House was so nice. It had three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It had two kitchens and two livingrooms. It was nice to be able to keep the children's stuff isolated to one area of the condo!!!! We faced River Island! The children loved the pool and all of the other activities in the Fun Zone!!! Here are some pictures of our travel day!

Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to the best Mom in the World! I don't know what I would do without you!! I can always count on you to be there whenever I need you! I am so thankful to have a mother like you! It is so funny how I appreciate you so much more now that I am a mother. I am so loved! Sophia, Graham, Parker, Piper and Oliver love you! I love you too! I hope you know that every day is Mother's Day to me! I am so blessed to have had such a loving mother as a child. I always knew you were there for me no matter what I did or said. You showed me unconditional love at its finest! We had a wonderful dinner at Aunt Dana and Uncle Ken's house on Saturday! The children loved playing on the "playground". Their favorite part of the night was roasting marshmellows over the fire! They loved it! They can't wait to go back to Aunt Dana's house again!

Mother's Day Breakfast with Sophia!

Sophia's teachers had a special breakfast for all of the Moms. It was so cute and very special! The children sang songs to us and gave us special gifts they made. Sophia didn't sing, but loved sharing her special gift for me! Of course, I loved spending time with my little (I mean big) princess!!

Dutch Wonderland Take Two!

We headed to Dutch Wonderland again the following week! The weather was much nicer and the children were asking to go again!! We had a Dutch Wonderful day!!!! Enjoy the pictures!

Batman!

Parker loves Batman! He is actually obsessed with Batman! Aunt Dana and Uncle Ken sent Parker a Batman costume for his birthday! Needless to say, he loved it! He runs around playing Batman all the time! He sure makes the cutest Batman ever!!!

Dutch Wonderland!

April 28th was opening day at Dutch Wonderland! The children have been waiting all winter to go to the park! It was not the greatest weather, but we figured we would get our season passes and the children could ride a few rides. They had a blast. We are looking forward to many summer days at Dutch Wonderland!!!!!
