Oliver!

We received good news today about Oliver! The doctor told me that Oliver does not have galactosemia! He does not have any of the symptoms of galactosemia, some of which include: cataracts, jaundice, enlarged liver, vomiting, and being lethargic. He said the worst case scenario would be that Oliver is a carrier of the mutated gene. But, most likely, Oliver's galactose enzyme is within the normal limits! That was a huge relief to us! Oliver had to give blood to confirm what the doctor told us. We should have the results in two to three weeks!!! We are so thankful that our little man is okay!! We sure do love our Oliver (or Smalliver as Erik calls him)!!! Thanks for all the prayers for Oliver!!!!
